Purpose
The main goal of 9066 is to educate, inform, and inspire others to learn more about the Japanese American experience in relation to the internment camps of World War II. The "Walking Museum" concept provides wearers with the ability to extend the reach of our mission through wearable art pieces.
-
Quality
All garments are sourced from reliable suppliers and undergo quality assurance protocols to ensure your garments arrive as described. All pieces are meant to resemble the quality of high-fashion pieces meant for everyday wear.
-
Care
To ensure the longest lasting life of your garments, we recommend machine washing on cold and allowing your garment to air dry. Doing so will help keep your garments from fading and cracking over time.

The Logo tee & hoodie
9066 - SS25
The logo tee and hoodie is a representation of our brand. The color scheme represents the "Rising Sun Red" of the Japanese Flag paying homage to our Japanese roots.

the document tee
9066 - SS25
The document that started it all, signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on February 19, 1942. This document created military zones along the west coast and granted permission to the United States military to remove any and all persons from said areas. This allowed for the forced removal and incarceration of more than 120,000 Japanese and Japanese American citizens as a result of their Japanese heritage.

The mob tee
9066 - SS25
This season limited tee was inspired by the unrelenting strength and determination of interment camp residents. Upon arrival into the camps, prisoners were assigned tags with their name and identifying number much like inmates of a prison.
